Teachers union leaders criticize salaries of ex-teachers union leaders as "excessive." The salaries of the former leaders were revealed in an RJ editorial from this morning.
You may remember that this union awarded its President and Vice President double-digit pay raises last fall. According to this morning's editorial, most unions spend 3%-7% of their budgets on salaries while they make up about one-third of the Clark County Education Association's budget. The teachers who are laid off or forced to take pay cuts should be happy that their union leaders are well-taken care of.
